District Wide Safety Plan

In accordance with New York State Education Law §2801-a, the Saranac Central School District has made the District-Wide School Safety Plan available for public review and comment.

đź“… Public Comment Period:
The plan will be available for public comment for a period of 30 days, beginning June 06, 2025 and ending July 07, 2025.

📢 Public Hearing:
A public hearing will be held on July 08, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the District office to provide an opportunity for school personnel, parents, students, and community members to participate and offer feedback.

đź“ť Plan Adoption:
The Board of Education will consider the adoption of the plan after the 30-day public comment period and the public hearing.

đź“Ł Locker Clean-Out Reminder for Students & Families
Hello students and families,
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to remind everyone that all student lockers must be completely cleaned out between June 16th and June 20th. This includes all food, beverages, clothing, and personal belongings.
Please remember that lockers are reassigned each year, and students will not have the same locker next school year. No items should be left behind—anything remaining in lockers after June 20th will be discarded or donated.
We kindly ask families to help remind and support students in bringing home anything they wish to keep. Let’s work together to wrap up the year in a clean and organized way.
