Caleb Champagne, a senior member of the Saranac Varsity Football Team has been nominated by the New York Giants to receive the "Heart of a Giant Award". Caleb is a very positive member of our Saranac community through academics, athletics and his connection with youth sports. Academically, Caleb is a member of the National Honor Society, President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and has consistently earned High Honor Roll status since entering high school. Caleb was also recognized as a NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete in 2024-25.  Athletically, he is a 3-year member of the varsity football team as well as a member of the varsity basketball and baseball teams. Outside of his role as a student-athlete, Caleb strongly impacts our youth sports community as a youth official for both the AFL football league and local youth basketball league. His contributions to our Saranac community make him extraordinarily deserving of this nomination and now it is up to us to get him to the top!
